Be the star you were meant to be

I have once again been challenged to make a card by Amy and Kimberly this week they choose the MUSE Challenge.  I am also adding it to the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge.

Here is my card:

I used my Stampin’ Up star stencil and embossing paste with a twist.  I added glitter to the embossing paste before I spread it on the card.

Here is what it looks like with the lights out:

How fun is that?!!   It isn’t sparkly glitter it is glow in the dark glitter from Martha Stewart!  I have had it sitting around for a couple of years and thought this might be interesting and it was!  I think I will be making a couple of these for Halloween this year!

Thank you for stopping by and please let me know what you think about the glow in the dark part!

Added to these challenges:

  1. Bobby says:

How fun are those glow in the dark stars! They remind me of the ones you stick on the ceiling. I’m so glad you used embossing paste and thanks for the idea of adding glitter. So glad you joined us at MUSE this week.

  2. Ardyth says:

I love how you’ve used the layout of Bobby’s card to make this really cool (I’ve never seen glow in the dark cards!) card! So glad you joined us at Muse – hope to see you again!

  3. Jingle says:

This is SO CUTE!!! I love that it glows! Totally fun! Thanks so much for playing along with us over at the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge Blog!
